2022 ST LOUIS SUPERCROSS RESULTS

The 2022 Monster Energy Supercross season resumed in St Louis after a brief break. It wasn’t quite business as usual, as the points leaders in both classes had their respective winning streaks broken. Eli Tomac’s run in the 450 class ended at five in a row, although he still has a commanding lead in the points thanks to his third place finish behind Marvin Musquin and Chase Sexton. It was the final race of the Triple Crown format, which is a series within a series. As such, there were three “Main” events, which saw Sexton, Musquin and Tomac all take one win each, with Musquin’s consistency giving him the top spot. Tomac’s performance in the other Triple Crown events gives him the Triple Crown Championship for 2022. As for Jet Lawrence, he was second behind RJ Hampshire in the 250 East class despite winning the first two races of the night. A Race 3 crash  saw him drop back to last and fight his way up to fifth.
