So far, as many as 2,378 patients have succumbed to the deadly virus in the state. Despite LOCKDOWN, Covid-19 cases in Odisha see RISING TREND. Odisha reports 11,099 new COVID-19 POSITIVE CASES in last 24 hours. 6214 cases in QUARANTINE, rest 4885 are LOCAL TRANSMISSION CASES. Total 21 districts recorded MORE THAN 200 corona positive cases. Odisha’s TEST POSITIVITY RATE (TPR) at 18.34%. 21 more SUCCUMB, VIRUS DEATH TOLL mounts to 2,378. KHORDHA district continues to be the WORST AFFECTED with 1460 new positive cases. SUNDARGARH district was next in the infection chart with 983 POSITIVE CASES. 867 n-CoV cases in Cuttack, 552 in Angul, 547 in Sambalpur. With the fresh cases, Odisha’s CORONAVIRUS POSITIVE TALLY mounts to 6,44,401. Odisha’s ACTIVE CASE count @1,05,375 after today’s surge. 10,242 Covid-infected persons RECOVERED on Tuesday. So far, 5,36,595 persons have RECUPERATED from the infection in Odisha.
