The Delhi Excessive Court docket has issued a keep order on the All India Soccer Federation’s (AIFF) determination to take away Shaji Prabhakaran from the publish of common secretary, it was reported by Sportstar on Friday. AIFF sacked Prabhakaran in November as a result of a “belief deficit” between president Kalyan Chaubey and the overall secretary. M Satyanarayan of Karnataka was appointed the appearing secretary common.
A day after his sacking, the choice was ratified by the AIFF Government Committee on 9 November.
“The (Government) Committee ratified the choice to terminate the contract of Dr Shaji Prabhakaran because the Secretary Common, and appoint Mr M Satyanarayan because the Appearing Secretary Common of the All India Soccer Federation,” AIFF’s press launch mentioned.

Prabhakaran in a press release had mentioned that he was ‘shocked’ at AIFF’s determination.
“AIFF’s determination to terminate me comes as a shock. We have been working as a staff. Charging me for ‘breach of belief’ is an enormous allegation,” he wrote on X (previously Twitter).
“Extra on this later. I stay a servant of the attractive recreation and thanks all who’ve supported me in my trustworthy effort for Indian soccer.”
Shaji turned the overall secretary in September 2022 after Chaubey was elceted because the AIFF president.
