Legendary Footballer Christiano Ronaldo and his spouse have declared the death of his son.
He took to his official Twitter handle to declare the demise of his son. In October, Ronaldo and Rodriguez publicized that they were having twins. In December, they revealed that they were expecting a boy and a girl.
Sadly, with great pain following the loss of the boy, the couple announced;
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel.
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.
His sad announcement has triggered a barrage of condolences from team, colleagues, loved ones, fans and admirers.
Manchester United tweeted; “Your pain is our pain, @Cristiano Sending love and strength to you and the family at this time.”
English Premiere League tweeted; “The thoughts and condolences of everyone at the Premier League are with you and your family, Cristiano.”
