Class 5A

1. Cherry Creek (8-0) vs. No. 3 Arapahoe, 7 p.m. Friday. Next week: at No. 7 Grandview, 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

2. Columbine (9-0) won vs. Lakewood, 48-0: Josh Snyder and Mark Snyder ran in two touchdowns apiece, the Rebels rolled up 236 rushing yards and the defense notched its second shutout of the season to remain unbeaten. Next week: vs. No. 8 Chatfield, 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

3. Arapahoe (7-1) at No. 1 Cherry Creek, 7 p.m. Friday. Next week: vs. Eaglecrest, 7 p.m. Oct. 26.

4. Pine Creek (8-1) won vs. Douglas County, 33-27: Junior Jonathan Coar ran for 229 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries as the Eagles jumped out to a 33-6 lead, then held on from there. Douglas County QB Jordan Wilhelm threw for 219 yards and two TDs on 22-of-40 passing, but the Creek defense intercepted him three times. Next week: at Chaparral, 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

5. Ralston Valley (6-2) at No. 8 Chatfield, 7 p.m. Friday. Next week: at Arvada West, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26.

6. Mountain Vista (8-1) won vs. Highlands Ranch, 48-8: The Golden Eagles scored 41 straight to start the game and cruised from there to set up a showdown with Valor Christian next Friday for the 5A South Metro League title. Next week: at Valor Christian, 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

7. Grandview (6-2) at Cherokee Trail, 7 p.m. Friday. Next week: vs. No. 1 Cherry Creek, 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

8. Chatfield (5-3) vs. No. 5 Ralston Valley, 7 p.m. Friday. Next week: at No. 2 Columbine, 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

9. Legend (6-3) lost vs. No. 10 Regis Jesuit, 27-10: A week after upsetting Pine Creek, Legend jumped ahead 10-0 in the second quarter on Michael Marsenich’s TD pass to Nate Sandy and a Brady Ryan field goal. But the Titans were shut out the rest of the way in their home finale. Next week: at Douglas County, 6 p.m. Oct. 26.

10. Regis Jesuit (5-4) won at No. 9 Legend, 27-10: The Raiders rallied from 10 points down to earn a massive win for their CHSAA RPI ranking, scoring 24 points over the final two quarters to knock off Legend. Jack Manthey booted two field goals, QB Peyton Lindell found Jojo Hernandez for the go-ahead score in the third quarter, and Albert Medina added a TD on the ground. Next week: at Fountain-Fort Carson, 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

1. Palmer Ridge (8-0) vs. Cheyenne Mountain, 7 p.m. Friday. Next week: vs. Vista Ridge, 7 p.m. Oct. 27.
