MUSIC: Barry Jhay – Rest On Kashy
Talented Nigerian musician and Cash Nation Entertainment signee, Barry Jhay returns with an emotional tribute song to his late boss, Kashy.
The “Japa” crooner, Barry Jhay titles this new single; “Rest On Kashy”. Barry Jhay was suspected to have been involved in the death of his boss, Kashy.
Kashy, real name Babatunde Oyerinde Abiodun, Kashy founded Cash Nation Entertainment with Barrry Jhay as his lead artiste.
Kashy died in the early hours of Sunday, March 7, in Ghana. Unconfirmed reports claim Kashy committed suicide.
Barry Jhay gain prominence in 2018 with the release of his song; “Aiye”. In 2019, he was named Rookie of The Year at the Headies.
In 2020, he released his debut EP, “Barry Back” under Cash Nation Entertainment, owned by the late Kashy Godson.
