High street retailer River Island has got a secret online eBay store that stocks more than 600 styles listed for sale, including current season items that are still on the rails in the store.
The River Island eBay store stocks items that are preloved, but have been treated to look brand new again as part of River Island’s takeback scheme with Reskinned, which means you can snap up items at a huge discounted price. Some items listed are even still stocked at River Island, so you can get current season coats and dresses for just a fraction of the cost.
Items are collected as part of River Island’s in-store takeback scheme, which encourages shoppers to bring a minimum of three items from any brand into one of its 200 participating stores in exchange for a £5 gift voucher, which can be used on any River Island order over £40 either instore or online. If you can’t get to one of the participating stores, you can arrange a drop-off online, so you can still do your bit to help the planet – and get your voucher.

After the items have been received, Reskinned checks them over by hand, before ozone-cleaning them using an eco-friendly, zero-water cleaning process and listing them in the eBay store for shoppers to browse.
Amongst the listings, there are plenty of hidden gems such as this River Island green plisse floral midi dress, which costs just £10 here and originally cost £60 in-store and online. The floral midi would be the perfect outfit for a wedding guest dress, or for a summery event that you might have coming up.
There are also jumpsuits, like this stunning summer-ready abstract print satin jumpsuit, £20 here (was £70), and every day essentials like tops and jeans, like these River Island molly skinny jeans, £10 here (was £48), so you can give your warobe a well deserved revamp without breaking the bank. You can also get shoes, coats, and bags, so you can go for a full new top to toe look.
