Secretary Blinken’s Call with Israeli Minister for Strategic Affairs Dermer

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with Israeli Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer.  The Secretary reiterated his profound condolences for the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel and reaffirmed unequivocal U.S. support for Israel’s right to defend itself and its citizens against this attack. The Secretary and the Minister made clear that the terrorist actions of Hamas have no justification, no legitimacy, and must be universally condemned.
