NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 10:30AM
Adani Power(up 5.00%), Indowind Energy(up 4.81%), Karma Energy(up 3.49%), Gujarat Industries Power(up 2.52%), Inox Wind Energy(up 2.12%), DPSC(up 1.95%), Adani Transmissions(up 1.69%), NHPC(up 1.40%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures(up 1.36%) and Reliance Power(up 1.35%) were among the top gainers.
Jyoti Structures(down 3.33%), Indo Tech Transformers(down 1.63%),
Transmission(down 0.98%), Orient Green Power Company(down 0.88%), SJVN(down 0.87%), KEC International(down 0.82%), Inox wind(down 0.55%), NLC India(down 0.42%) and Energy Development Company(down 0.26%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 31.3 points down at 18101.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 106.63 points at 60820.8 at around 10:30AM.
Titan Company Ltd(up 2.51%), UPL Ltd(up 1.64%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.29%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.18%), Coal India(up 0.97%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.88%), NTPC(up 0.82%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.57%), IndusInd Bank(up 0.55%) and Asian Paints(up 0.43%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv(down 1.43%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.24%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.94%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.9%), Infosys(down 0.86%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.79%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.77%), Reliance Industries(down 0.73%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.64%) and JSW Steel(down 0.57%) were trading in the red.
