Will Davante Adams be suspended? Latest news on possible fine, suspension from NFL after pushing cameraman thumbnail

When push comes to shove, don’t be Davante Adams.

The Raiders were handed a loss on “Monday Night Football,” and Davante Adams handed a poor equipment guy an unnecessary shove. Now, Adams might be handed some discipline from the NFL.

Cameras caught the receiver pushing a photographer over on his way off the field on Monday night in a moment of frustration, then walking past said photographer following Vegas’ 30-29 loss.

Adams apologized to the man through the media following the game, and also took to Twitter to make sure his words were heard by the man he pushed:

Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.

Apologies are fine and good, but the NFL may not accept it — and apparently, the photographer might not, either, with the matter escalated to the police and, now, maybe court.

Will Davante Adams be suspended?

While the NFL has yet to address the situation publicly, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero says that the league is reviewing the situation and that a suspension is on the table. Ian Rapoport reports that the NFL isn’t treating the matter urgently, because the Raiders are on a bye this upcoming week.

If Adams isn’t slapped with a suspension, then there’s a good chance he’ll be fined for shoving the person to the ground.

#Raiders WR Davante Adams is facing NFL discipline — and potentially even a suspension — for shoving a man to the ground after Monday night’s loss to the #Chiefs, per sources.

The league is reviewing the situation. Adams apologized through the media and again on Twitter.

It’s unclear what a fine or suspension for shoving non-player personnel would be, but expect a decision from the NFL sooner rather than later. How the NFL will navigate the legal issues remains to be seen, as well.
