As a co-worker said on Saturday when I showed her this video: “UGH he’s so damn talented.” It’s true.

The latest Lil Nas X hit, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” has caused quite a stir in some (incredibly square) corners of the internet for its provocative video and queer re-telling of the Bible’s Garden of Eden story. This follow-up video lacks the flash of the original, but it makes up for that with a decidedly different sound.

Officially titled “Montero (Call Me By Your Name) (But Lil Nas X Makes All The Sounds With His Mouth),” what you’re really looking at is an a capella version of “Montero.” Sorry, scratch that. A really good a capella version of “Montero” in which Lil Nas X plays every part wearing a different look for each one.
